artist statement
my experimental and conceptual art speaks to my experience as an individual who faces ostracization both within and outside of my community. they are intended to make their audience uncomfortable, and force them to sit with that discomfort. is it uncomfortable because you know the pain? Or is it because you don't want to see what your actions do?
